Barrington Hills
DUI
Sharon A. Meroni, 55, of 1 Surrey Lane in Barrington Hills, was arrested Dec. 2 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She also was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash after she was taken into custody after her vehicle struck a pole on Oaknoll Road. She was assigned a court date of Jan. 11 in Cook County.
South Barrington
DUI
Aneta M. Sitnik, 36, of 1417 Valley Lake Drive in Schaumburg, was arrested Dec. 1 on Route 12 near Bartlett Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Sitnik also was cited for illegal lane use, illegal use of a turn signal and driving an uninsured vehicle. She was assigned a court date of Dec. 17 in Cook County.
Barrington
DUI
Daniel R. Estrada, 26, of 1122 Washington Ave. in Wauconda, was arrested Dec. 3 Barrington Road and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He also was cited for speeding, illegal lane use, driving without insurance and failing to notify Secretary of State of an address change. Estrada was released on bond and given a court date of Jan. 3 in Cook County.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Robby J. Calabro, 49, of 825 Harriet Lane in Barrington, was arrested Dec. 5 at his home and charged with domestic battery. Calabro was taken to bond call and given a $50,000 D-bond. He was assigned a court date of Dec. 17 in Cook County.
