1. One Book, One Barrington: Hunger Games, a panel discussion featuring local authors, will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Barrington Area Library, 505 N. Northwest Highway, Barrington. 2. Harper Symphony Orchestra presents “A Concert in Contrasts” at 3 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Harper College Performing Arts Center, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
