Glenkirk and Search were in the winner’s circle May 21 as the Keystone Foundation hosted its first joint fundraising event, A Day at the Races at Arlington Park racetrack. The event raised more than $120,000 for individuals with developmental disabilities served by both agencies.

Nearly 300 guests enjoyed an afternoon of food, horse racing, live and silent auctions, and a raffle, which included an iPad, a Google TV, a Kindle 3G and gift cards.

“Search and Glenkirk were founded on the simple belief that communities are made better when all of their citizens get the chance to contribute,” said John Lipscomb, president and CEO of Glenkirk and Search. “This belief continues to inspire our missions today. We empower people with developmental disabilities to engage in every aspect of community life.”
