Four men face drug charges after Barrington arrest

BARRINGTON — Four men were arrested in Barrington on Nov. 20 for various drug related offenses, Barrington police reported this week.
The arrests were made at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 20 at the residence of Steven R. Keuth and Matthew J. Magnanenzi, who both reside at 530 Shorely Drive, No. 104, Barrington.
Keuth, 32, faces charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. After the arrest, Keuth was taken to Lake County bond call.
Magnanenzi, 29, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was Andrew B. Watt, 26, of 25147 Edward Lane in Tower Lakes. Watt faces charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Earl T. Blankenship, 26, of 3702 Eastway Drive in Island Lake, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Watt, Magnanenzi and Blankenship are scheduled in court Dec. 20 in Lake County.
Barrington Police Chief Jerry Libit explained that the arrests came after police received an anonymous tip regarding drug activity at the address.
“Our detectives received information that someone was dealing drugs out of that location,” Libit said.
Libit said Barrington police teamed with Lake County MEG (Metropolitan Enforcement Group), a task force that works to tackle drug and gang-related crimes in Lake County.
