The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Barrington

DUI

He also was cited for driving with one taillight. Ross was taken into custody and released on bond. He was given a court date of Jan. 16.

ALCOHOL

A 17-year-old female from Barrington Hills was arrested Jan. 1 for underage consumption of alcohol after a traffic stop at Route 14 and Route 59. She also was cited for illegal lane use, speeding, driving with no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating a vehicle after curfew. He also was cited for speeding, illegal lane use, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. The police report states that Howard was stopped after an officer noticed him speeding and swerving between lanes. Howard failed subsequent field sobriety tests, the report states.
