Barrington area police blotter for Jan. 24, 2013

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BARRINGTON

DRUGS

A 17-year-old female and a 17-year-old male were charged Jan. 10 with disorderly conduct for allegedly being under the influence of drugs while at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. According to school officials, there was an altercation at the high school. They were released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

A 15-year-old female from Carpentersville was charged Jan. 15 with disorderly conduct for allegedly being under the influence of drugs while at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. She was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

A 14-year-old female was charged Jan. 16 with possession of marijuana at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. She was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

A 16-year-old male from Barrington was charged Jan. 16 with disorderly conduct for allegedly being under the influence of drugs while at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. He was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

Carlos A. Reyes, 18, of 67 Wren Drive in Carpentersville, was charged Jan 18 with possession of drug paraphernalia at 400 N. Northwest Highway. He was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

A 17-year-old male from Carpentersville and a 17-year-old male from Barrington were charged Jan 18 with possession of drug paraphernalia at 400 N. Northwest Highway. They were released and given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.

Daniel Lopez-Perez, 19, of 1245 Navajo Drive in Carpentersville, was charged Jan. 18 with possession of drug paraphernalia at 400 N. Northwest Highway. He was released and given an adjudication hearing of Feb. 21.

DUI

Jennifer M. Skippergosh, 25, of 1247 Groh Court, Palatine, was arrested Jan 13 and charged with driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. She also was cited for illegal lane use, use of an unsafe tire, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal use of an electronic device while driving and unlawful damage to a highway at Route 14 and Route 59. Skippergosh was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 6.

Jeanine M. Carlos, 42, of 8103 Boulder Court, Long Grove, was arrested Jan 13 and charged with driving under the influence. She also was cited for speeding, illegal lane use and driving without insurance at Hough and Main streets. Carlos was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 28.
