Barrington area police blotter for Feb. 7, 2013

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Barrington
ALCOHOL
Austin E. Griffin, 18, of 1012 George St., Barrington, was charged Jan. 27 with underage possession and consumption of alcohol at Elm and Willow roads. He was given an adjudication hearing date of Feb. 21.
DUI
Joanne Cierniewski, 33, of 6204 Kilkenny Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 27 at Route 14 and Lake Zurich Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or greater. She also was cited for driving on a suspended license, illegal lane use and illegal use of a driver’s license. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14.
Jody L. Nega, 29, of 285 Crestview Drive, Wauconda, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with driving under the influence. She also was cited for speeding at Route 14 and Glendale Avenue. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14.
Ivana E. Dykas, 42, of 37 Graystone Court, Barrington, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with driving under the influence. She also was cited for illegal lane use and speeding at Route 14 and Route 59. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 28.
Michael J. Aussem, 25, of 321 Elm St., Sycamore, was arrested Feb. 3 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He also was cited for driving without a front plate, without a driver’s license on person, and open alcohol in the vehicle at Northwest Highway and Hough Street. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 21.
THEFT
Jeffrey B. Vance, 41, of 810 W. Northwest Highway, Barrington, was arrested Jan. 30 for retail theft at 101 S. Northwest Highway. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 15.
South Barrington
DUI
John W. Stark, 55, of 264 Juniper Circle, Streamwood, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or greater. He also was cited for disobeying a traffic control device near Route 62 and Barrington Road. Stark was released and given a court date of Feb. 20.
