Barrington Chamber Economic summit slated Jan. 31

The annual Economic Summit featuring The State of the Barrington Region is scheduled from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Makray Memorial Golf Club, 1010 E. Northwest Highway, Barrington. The event offers those in attendance a chance to meet the area’s leaders and be among the first to hear of their visions for 2012. Forum topics include Doing Business in Barrington, The State of the Chamber and The State of Barrington.

Invited Community Leaders include Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Board of Directors; Community Unit School District 220 administrators; representatives from the Barrington, Barrington Countryside, Lake Barrington and South Barrington Park Districts; Barrington Area Library administrators ; Barrington Township, Cuba Township, Algonquin Township and Ela Township supervisors; area state and federal legislators; area county representatives from Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties; and village presidents or designees from Barrington, Barrington Hills, Deer Park, Inverness, Lake Barrington, North Barrington, Port Barrington, South Barrington and Tower Lakes.
